Most of the long term regular postal clerks are very friendly and helpful. There are a few more recent additions who are not. Two stars off for several less than helpful newer employees. Five stars for Holly and John who have been there long term and go out of their way to be helpful. There is a horrendous lack of parking and use of the back lot is not permitted unless you have heavy packages to pick up, and even then, some of the irate newer clerks will insist you can't use the lot, even though there are usually no parking spots available on busy Ridgewood Avenue. Carrying heavy or multiple parcels across the busy street is virtually impossible and unsafe. The employee parking lot is extremely cramped, difficult to turn around in, and full of potholes. The concrete handicap ramp is cracked and overgrown with weeds. A handicapped person in a wheelchair would have extreme difficulty in opening the heavy front door. There is one handicapped parking spot on either side of Ridgewood Avenue. The recent addition if the handicapped parking spot on the opposite side of the street limits the already very limited parking for regular vehicles further. The public can use restroom but it is not easily accessible or designed for use by the public and it's use by the public is frowned on by the employees. Building is older and has some interesting murals and historic tidbits of information. If this is your only source to receive mail, daily pick up of letters and parcels will be stressful due to the lack of accessibility.

The nice people who work here are efficient and well mannered. I enjoy going to this PO. Thank you!

I’ve been using this post office for months and send legal time sensitive documents, merchandise and payments through this location. I always opt in for Priority Express with Signature, paying a $23.75 fee for each package. I’ve been told by multiple addressees that they never received these packages or received them late. Upon tracking several packages over the span of 6 months, I’ve discovered that the signature for these packages were WAIVED at time of delivery. I contacted the post office and spoke with a John, who claimed to investigate the situation. John explained to me that I will not be receiving any refund but for the latest package that was sent. He claimed that I had 30 days after the initial date of mailing to file for a refund. John continued to explain that I agreed to a 30day dispute if the package wasn’t delivered in the time it was suppose to. Nowhere does it say anything about a 30day period if they failed to obtain a signature. John became hostile using legal terms saying I signed and agreed to the contract to only dispute 30days after mail date. Well John, you failed to obtain a signature for which I paid a fee, which is a breech of contract to begin with. If the signature for 3 out of my 5 latest packages were WAIVED, and you charged $23.75, you’re pocketing money for a falsely advertised service or neglecting to perform those services. You’re scamming your customers! There is a reason these packages require signature. Imagine how many people lose money for this service!

I prefer to use this Post Office due to proximity to my residence. Most staff members are helpful.

Nice location that has personalized service. They don't always follow through and the management is weak, but the staff at the windows are excellent and very friendly.
